Tromso- Dog Sledge ♥ 2:41 AM

We're now at tromso and just came back from dog sledging.. it was fun fun fun!! i love the dogs. ((:

After booking out sledging trip, we had to wonder around town until 6pm when our guide will pick us up from Rica Hotel. So here's what we did...
We walked around the little town and did some shopping at an army shop. Cool second hand stuff! Also, spent 2 hours in their library and had BURGER KING before heading off to Rica hotel.



Here's what i managed to take with a normal idiot camera's night mode. Not bad i must say for a no tripod nor manual control camera. the bright triangle u see is the Arctic Cathedral.

Finally!! THE DOGS!!
There were about 86 dogs i think, and the owner only started with 6, 8 years ago!
Once we reached the place, on Whale Island (Kvaløya) We were brought into a small hut for us to change into boots and a trenchsuit!
The dogs were absolutely adorable. they kept barking and jumping on their hinds upon the sight of visitors. All were craving for pets and cuddles. After a relatively sufficent explaination, we had 6 dogs attached to our sledge and off we went in pairs.
That's our sledge.
The dogs are CRAZY!! they absolutely love running! When we stopped for what seemed like seconds, they'd think is too long, start howling and barking, saying "Come on! Come on, let's get going already!" Some even turn back to look at us. We were later told by the guide that turning back basically means they're asking for more speed. "Less brakes! You idiot slow humans!"

Nothing much to say except that i love the dogs! lets have pictures do the talking then. (:
